An intelligent watering system is a practical thing to have: less work watering, no waterlogging – and the plant takes exactly the amount of water it needs. Here are a few more watering tips to make sure that your indoor or terrace and balcony plants continue to thrive:
After potting the plant, water the plant through the top soil. After the initial
growth phase, fill the water through the shaft next to the water level indicator to "max.". The plant now takes the water it needs from the felt strips at the bottom of the container.
If the water level indicator falls to "min.", do not always add more water right away. Now the drying phase starts, which serves to aerate the soil and can take up to several days depending on the type of plant and its location.
Once the drying phase is over: Fill water through the shaft to "max."again. The plant should also be occasionally watered through the soil to prevent lime and salt deposits from developing.
