This year, Emsa has managed to win two "red dot awards" for innovative design: And the winners are: the Turboline salad spinner with turbo button and the window box bracket, that doesn't need any screws. Both products scored high with the top-notch jury with their outstanding design as well as their exceptional functionality and quality - and will receive the coveted quality seal on 1 July, 2013.
Besides a good design concept, the renowned product contest also looks for innovative details. Turboline has both. It is the very first salad spinner with the unique turbo button. If it is pressed while spinning, it works clearly more efficiently than conventional spinners. A 50 percent higher rotational speed is achieved – and the salad is ready to be served even quicker. The Soft Touch handle on the cord, the stop button, that stops the washing and drying process, the integrated spout in the lid as well as the non-slip bottom for secure positioning all provide for maximum handling comfort. The 4.5-litre turbo salad spinner is available in stainless steel as well as crystal-clear plastic and as a collapsible variant.
Clou impressed the 37-head expert jury of the "red dot award" with its exceptional quality and functionality. Never before has it been so easy to fasten a window box bracket: Clou, the latest window box bracket needs no screws at all. Its flexible belt fastener can be easily mounted to railings with diameters of up to eight centimetres - round or rectangular. The bracket can be adjusted to accommodate window boxes of various widths and depths and is suitable for all conventional window boxes up to one meter in length. The fibre-glass reinforced plastic makes the allrounder absolutely safe and durable. Rust problems or scratched bases are now a thing of the past.
In good company: Exhibition at the "red dot design museum"
