Picnic Party

Glorious summer weather is forecast for the weekend. So nothing is going to keep us indoors. Now Emsa has the launched its outdoor crockery line for picnics or al fresco dining: the plates, bowls and mugs belonging to the new Travel range look like real china – except they are extremely robust, scratchproof and long-lasting. Well-designed in harmonious colours, they appeal to everyone who loves eating outdoors.


When the patio table is set with crockery from the Travel series, you want for nothing: served on the deep plates and dinner plates, the menu for the picnic party looks really appetising. There is a large bowl with smaller bowls for finger food, crispy side dishes or desserts. And there are gleaming white cups with a decorated rim in summery yellow, pale green, aquamarine and blackberry shades. The colours blend together perfectly and are an open invitation to mix 'n match.


Whether the occasion is a garden party, an outing or a longish journey – Travel crockery livens it up with its absolutely straightforward, stylish design. All items are designed to be stacked one inside the another as a set, so they fit nicely in the picnic hamper, rucksack or camp site equipment without taking up a lot of room. For dedicated explorers Emsa has added a decorative map of the world on the underside of the plates and bowls reading "My world. My home". With the Travel series, the name says it all.
