Esteras: stylish planters for discerning plant lovers

Planters with character are in popular demand for 2011. And that is precisely what the new Esteras products have to offer. Innovative, two-tone containers, new materials and decorative accessories set trends for individual garden room décors in the coming season. Exceptionally high quality: all items are hand-crafted at our own workshops in the Far East. Controlled materials form the basis for real, skilled handicraft and dependable, excellent quality.

Bicolor revolution: two colour shades in perfect harmony

Containers in the colour combinations Concrete/Rust or Dark Brown/Light Brown not only look sophisticated but are very popular with customers. Esteras is now coordinating colour trends in the new Bicolor series – absolutely unique and perfect for people who appreciate something special. The Concrete/Rust and Dark Brown/Cotto Brown receptacles are skilfully fashioned by hand from a single piece. The individual designs set off the two-tone colour combinations in perfect harmony. Typical for NatureLite: the bicolor finish looks really authentic. All receptacles are amazingly lightweight which is particularly convenient for transporting them home from the garden centre.

Stone: impressively natural-looking yet lightweight

Hard to believe: they look like real stone, feel like stone but, thanks to the choice of material, these new Stone planters weight up to 70 per cent less. This is thanks to the combination of selected, natural granulated stone and high-quality synthetic resin. Available in either black or white, this elegant Stone design is tomorrow's classic. Colour-coordinated spheres in three appealing sizes are the perfect decorative accessory. How about a screen for the patio or an attractive partition for indoors? The black and white blocks are ideal for this purpose. Since the drainage holes can be drilled through, as required, all Stone novelties are perfect for either indoor or outdoor use.

Antique White – sophisticated garden nostalgia in a new interpretation

White, wrought-iron seats and groups of chairs are true classics of elegant garden culture and provided the inspiration for the Antique White line of planters. They balance fashionable flair and nostalgic charm with ultra-modern materials. A high-calibre, state-of-the-art fibreglass/mineral compound makes the NatureLite containers light, robust and frost-resistant as well as lending them an authentic-looking, vintage appearance.

Ornamental features: not just planters

For everyone who wants accessories to go with their stylish interiors: pure, sophisticated and skilfully fashioned, the new copper-coloured, fish-themed figures add some maritime flair to green oases – with or without water jets. The traditional Mediterranean pine cone finials sculpted in three finishes, Concrete, Antique White and Rust, also add a touch of ornamental flair to the garden or the patio.

New designs in popular colours

For the first time, hanging pot holders have been added to the NatureLite Concrete und Rust ranges of planters – not in traditional designs, however, but in decidedly modern interpretations. Thanks to their inward-curving rim with an impressively distinctive radius in transition, these bowls look exceptionally elegant. Suspended from high-quality stainless-steel cables, they make the ideal receptacles for vines or fleshy-leaved succulent plants. Or shall it be the matching counterpart for more down-to-earth varieties? There are no less than four aesthetically-designed models – tubs and tall planters – with authentic-looking finishes from which to choose.

FountainsLite: a new material – new designs

Water and light installations complete the perfect garden-room ambience. And the new fountains in grey granite, sandstone and black stone are absolutely convincing. Selected granulated stone, bonded with high-grade fibreglass, lends them the unique, authentic finish of real stone fountains except – and this is the fascinating part – they are much lighter. These stylish designs weigh up to 70 per cent less than natural stone. This makes them much easier to carry. The FountainsLite features need no separate water source; they come complete with high-performance, low-noise pumps.

Saving the best till last: clever EasyDrain for thriving growth

To make it as easy as possible to plant these appealing Esteras containers in an expert fashion, Emsa is rounding off its programme with a professional drainage system. It takes just three simple steps to achieve perfect drainage the EasyDrain way: place the felt bag in the pot, cover with earth – that's all there is to it! Not only does it prevent waterlogging but also protects all outdoor containers effectively against frost. In addition, the high-grade, expanded clay drainage layer, with its "made in Germany" pedigree, provides an extra water reservoir, creating an ideal climate for the roots and optimum growth.
